TEACHER BIO

Hello! My name is Kennedy Dinges. At Alma Area School, I enjoy sharing my talents - from teaching mathematics, English, reading intervention, and current events to coaching varsity volleyball in the fall and junior high track in the spring. My journey began at Winona State, where I honed my skills and passion for education.

During my student teaching at Dairyland rival Cochrane-Fountain City, I immersed myself in coaching roles across various sports, including volleyball, boys and girls basketball, and track. These experiences instilled in me a deep commitment to fostering students' academic and athletic growth.

In my classrooms, I prioritize building meaningful relationships with my students, believing that connections lay the foundation for effective learning. Beyond academics, I'm passionate about instilling life skills and promoting a lifelong love of learning.

Guiding student-athletes to reach their full potential individually and as a team brings me immense pride and fulfillment. Whether on the court or the track, I thrive in the role of coach, empowering students to excel academically and athletically.

Outside of school, I cherish spending time with my partner Heidi, exploring new destinations, embracing experiences outdoors, and enjoying culinary delights. Despite being a Bears fan in the land of cheeseheads, I've grown to love our beautiful bluff country and am dedicated to teaching and coaching our Eagles.

My journey at Alma Area Schools is about nurturing a community of learners and athletes, empowering them to chase their dreams and embrace every challenge with courage and resilience. I am glad to be part of this proud community and look forward to the adventures ahead.
