Hello Eagles and Rivermen! I am Julie Goeldner. I am currently teaching elementary reading and math intervention and some special education classes. Over the last eight years, I have been an elementary special education teacher. I have worked for Alma Areas Schools since 1999, wearing multiple hats over the years including third-grade teacher, primary art teacher, and junior high special education teacher. I am a proud graduate of Alma, graduating in 1985. I received my bachelor’s degrees from Winona State University in Elementary Education and Special Education. When I’m not teaching, my fingers are usually busy with yarn art projects, either knitting or crocheting. Over the past few years, I’ve developed a love for crocheting amigurumi animals.
