Tim Ruff
Hello, my name is Tim Ruff, and I teach Physical Education and Health at the Alma School. I also am head baseball coach for the Pepin-Alma Eagles. My primary goal each year is to ensure every student has a memorable and enjoyable school year to spark their interest in physical activity and wellness. In addition, it is a huge focus of mine to challenge students to grow academically and reach their highest potential.
Being an Alma graduate in 2009, it was a dream come true to teach in the district where I grew up in. After high school, I furthered my education at Winona State University and graduated with an Elementary Education degree and coaching minor. I taught 1st grade for two years in the Pepin School District and another six years teaching 4th grade in Alma. During my free time, I spend a lot of time with friends and family and being outside doing a variety of different activities. My spring and summers are very busy coaching on the baseball field. Many also know I am an avid Minnesota sports fan as I often spend my night's cheering on the Twins, Gophers, Vikings, and Timberwolves.
