The Alma Alumni Scholarship Association, who had their banquet this past weekend, wanted to recognize Samantha Benish. a former recipient of the Alma High School Scholarship.
Samantha Benish, a graduate of Alma High School (Class of 2019), wrote an article in Curb Magazine while at UW-Madison, a publication produced by the School of Journalism and Mass Communication. This particular article allowed Samantha to highlight her hometown of Alma, WI. Samantha expressed her gratitude for the opportunity to tell this particular story, stating that it is her favorite piece she has ever written and holds a special place in her heart. She emphasized the importance of bringing awareness to communities that may not have been known otherwise.
