The Eagles suffered a tough conference loss. Friday night's matchup between the Alma-Pepin Eagles and the Alma-Center Lincoln Hornets was absolutely electric! The evening started out right with an outstanding performance from the Eagle’s Pep Band. The band set the tone for the night, and the boys kept the energy high all game long. The Alma-Pepin Eagles fought hard to keep pace with the Lincoln Hornets, but despite a strong performance, they were unable to overcome the early lead established by Alma-Center. Eagle’s player, Breckin Hullopeter, was particularly impressive, showcasing his dominance in the paint by finishing six for nine and collecting ten rebounds to go along with his 17 points. Bocksell also contributed significantly, adding 11 points to the Eagles’ score. However, the Eagle's efforts were minute compared to the high-talent players of the Hornets. Jace Paul was a stand-out player for Alma-Center Lincoln and was hard to stop. Ben Ross, another talented baller earned himself his 1,000th point early on in the game. Although the Eagles never managed to take the lead, they refused to back down throughout the entire game. Despite their relentless fight and determination, the night ended in a tough defeat, with the final score standing at 47-61.
