"Pay it forward" is an expression for when the recipient of an act of kindness does something kind for someone else rather than simply accepting or repaying the original good deed.
Sixteen employees at the Alma Area Schools were blessed by a "Pay it Forward Angel" and received an envelope with a monetary donation and the letter pictured below.

We hope that we can all "Pay it Forward" especially during this time of year when we are reminded to be thankful for all the wonderful things in our life. Alma Area Schools is blessed and thankful for its wonderful staff, amazing students, and generous communities we are a part of.
We hope everyone takes time to "Pay it Forward"! The deed doesn't have to be big, a simple smile, friendly greeting, opening of a door, or a visit to a neighbor that isn't able to get out of the house, can make all the difference in a persons day.
