Yesterday, Monday Jan. 9, was the kickoff to our new Word of the Month. In January, the students will be learning about PERSEVERANCE. Perseverance is pushing yourself to work through challenges and obstacles. In our primary grades, Mrs. Brevick taught the students how to play Seven Up . It is a tricky game that uses a ball that they can play at recess or at home. They thought it was pretty fun!
We also had several students earn certificates for showing Empathy all last month! Great job, kids!!
