More fun snowman from the Clubhouse kids
Rivermen Clubhouse Kids had fun creating with modeling clay. They are very creative.
They also got to spend some time with the dance team. The kids thought it was great. Thank you for allowing them to hang out with the team!
Good afternoon. You have probably already heard that a winter storm warning has been issued with high confidence from the National Weather Service for our area tomorrow late morning. Snowfall is expected to start by 10 AM tomorrow morning. Our area is expected to see an inch of snow per hour, and at times could experience two inches of snow per hour. Our area is in the highest snow ban for this storm, which means that there is a very high probability of seeing eight plus inches of snow, but could actually see closer to twelve or more inches of snow.
With these types of snow rates and overall amounts, it is not beneficial or wise to bring students in and then release them early once the snow has started to hit our area. Thus, we have made the decision to close school tomorrow, Friday, December 10th, 2021. All after school activities have also been canceled.
We hope that making this decision ahead of time and getting this message out early gives all of our students and family’s ample time to plan ahead. Thanks and have a fantastic Friday and a wonderful weekend!
Rivermen Clubhouse Kids we’re busy this week!
We started out on Monday writing Santa letters. A round or two of Reindeer Reindeer Santa (Duck Duck Goose) was played and we also played a dice game filling Santa’s beard with a special treat. Then we got to eat the treat. Yummy!
Today we played with toys that were brought out for the first time this year, a game of gold fish(with special gold fish cards) and we also made Farewell Cards to 3 special student teachers from Winona State. Thank you Greyson, Bill & Anna for being such caring teachers to our students. We wish you well as you graduate and begin teaching in your own classrooms. Congratulations!!!
