The Student of the Week is freshman Garrett Krause. Garrett has a twin brother named Eli and an older brother named Logan. His parents' names are Kevin and Julie Krause. Garrett's favorite thing about Alma High School is being a part of the football team. If he could change one thing about Alma he would like to add more options for different classes. Garrett’s favorite teacher is Mrs. Jumbeck because she has a fun class and is good at delivering the material to the students. Garrett's father, Kevin Krause, is the greatest role model in his life. Garrett does football, trap, baseball, and FFA as extracurriculars through the Alma School District. He hopes to have a future in the natural resources and enjoys fishing and hunting. If Garrett could have one celebrity as a teacher, he would pick Will Farrell because he is funny.

The 2nd graders at Alma School had 'Gingerbread Day.' In math, Mrs. Brecka asked the students to estimate a gingerbread house. Then they checked the estimates after measuring. There was a gingerbread story, and then the 2nd graders built their own. It was a SWEET day!

Winter Band and Choir Concert 2023. Such an amazing time at the concert with a great turnout. Grades 6-12 performed a variety of Christmas songs for the community to enjoy. Thanks to all who attended!

Many students dressed up for Ugly Sweater Day to inculcate their true Christmas Spirit.

The elementary students had to dig deep to find the ugliest sweater in their ugly drawer.

In Pre-K this week, it's all about Dramatic Play! Learning how to share is a huge skill that takes a lot of practice. Sharing toys is just one way we practice in Mrs. Rolbiecki's class!

Congratulations to our Junior Class fundraiser winner for week 7!

Dress like your favorite Christmas character was the Winterfest theme for today. A couple of students were able to pull it off though!!!! Make sure to wear your ugly sweaters tomorrow.

Today, the elementary kids were looking to steal Christmas but decided to have a little heart by dressing as the Grinch.

These Christmas light bulbs were pretty cool until we tried to open them! We had to smash them to eat the sucker part! Sure was fun though. We will blame the Grinch!

Student of the Week
Imani Lopez-Elliott
Imani is the daughter of Addie Elliot and Gabe Elliot. She is currently in the 8th grade. She is a three-sport athlete where she finds herself enjoying time with her friends in Volleyball, Softball, and Track. Imani's favorite teacher is Mrs. Krzoska due to the collective and calm nature of Mrs. Krzoska’s classroom. When Imani is not in Mrs. Krzoska’s class, she is looking up to her biggest role model, Ashley Bartelt. After high school, Imani plans to attend a university to become a teacher. She loves the community's endless support for the Alma school. Congratulations Imani! Keep up the great work.
