Your help was greatly appreciated. Also, A special thank you goes out to Heidi Noll and Kennedy Dinges for picking up food and leading the team of workers.
Our next concession will be Homecoming on Friday. September 15. We will need several workers on this night so we can host a tailgate party beforehand. Check your email for a worker request coming real soon. Have a great Labor Day weekend everyone!

Family: My husband Kent and I have been married for 23 years and are blessed with 5 children. McKenna, (21 Pre-Med; UW-Madison) Also, starter on the WI Badgers Women’s Club Basketball National Champs two-year's running. Gunnar (19 Pre-Chiropractic UW-Eau Claire); Tight-End-Blugolds football. Ethan, Senior Durand, Scout & Sawyer (Twins) 7th grade Durand.
Hobbies: We are a HUGE sports family. I enjoy coaching youth basketball and playing music with the kids at Lyster Sunday School. I sang and played keyboard in the Bennett Valley Gray Band for 30 years and even was blessed enough to play at Country Fest 8 times. I also make quilts and crochet baby blankets for all my nieces and nephews’ births and graduations.

Alma Area Schools and the Alma Yearbook Team have extra yearbooks that they are departing with. Years range from 1988 to 2023. Most years have multiple copies available. There are a few years that do not have any copies available, along with a few other years that only have one or two copies available. Yearbooks are on a first come first serve basis and will need to be picked up at school. There is no cost, but donations will be accepted and go to our yearbook team. Please welcome Mrs. Rundquist to our district. Here is a little information to get to know Mrs. Rundquist...
Current Position: PK-12 Music Teacher
Hometown: Zumbrota, MN
College: Masters Certificate in Artist Management from Berklee College of Music and BA in Exercise Science from Concordia University. Currently enrolled at Berklee again and in graduate school at St Mary's University.
Family: I have been married to my Husband David for 15 years. We have a son Roark (14) and a Daughter Eliza (12). We are an active family, members/leaders of the Boy Scouts of America troops in Pepin, and enjoy going on adventures together.
Hobbies: Knitting, functional kettlebell training, and outdoor adventures

What is your favorite movie, book, or tv show of all time? The Sword of Truth Book Series by Terry Goodkind are my favorite books. My favorite movie would be Gran Torino.
What do you do in your spare time: When I am not in the gym or working on music, I spend most of my spare time doing something for BSA Scouting.
What other jobs have you held: I will continue to be a personal trainer, nutritionist, and pain-free performance specialist to my current clientele. Before I became a trainer 8 years ago, I worked for 12 years as a performing/recording music artist, piano and guitar teacher, and disc/karaoke jockey. I have worked in finance, in a bakery, and at two music stores in my past as well.
Fun Facts: I can shake my eyeballs really fast and I am a dog person

Please see the attached flyer announcing the sale of Alma Riverman sideline folding chairs. Over the summer, the Booster Club purchased new Eagles chairs to start using this fall. Spread the word to Alma alumni and friends who may be interested in purchasing a price of Alma Riverman history! Booster Club will have a table set up on Thursday at Back to School night and have chairs available to purchase and go!!
