Rivermen Clubhouse enjoyed fun games for the Christmas season, making paper snow flakes and doing fun crafts too. We hope everyone had a great and safe two days off.

Good afternoon. After checking a number of our district traveled roads, we have made the determination that all evening activities will be canceled. This includes all practices and the middle school boys’ basketball game. This also includes the winter formal that was scheduled for this evening. We are already working on options for rescheduling the winter formal and when those plans are final, we will share that information out. Thanks, and have a great day and a wonderful weekend.

The Alma School District will be closed today, Friday, December 16th. We will make a decision on after school activities later today and may allow if road conditions improve. Thanks and make it a great day!

Due to the inclement weather, the Alma Area Schools will be closed on Thursday, December 15th. All activities are canceled as well.

The Alma sixth grade band is excited to perform for you at our Holiday Concert on Monday, December 19 at 7:00 pm. We hope to see you there!

Attention: High School Basketball Games have been moved up this evening. The Girls Varsity game at SCC will now start at 6 PM or as close to 6 PM as possible. The bus will now depart at 3:50 Alma & 4:10 Pepin. The Boys JV and Varsity games at Alma Center will both start at 6 PM or as close to 6 PM as possible. Varsity might not be able to tip off right at 6 p.m. but will tip off as soon as game officials arrive. JH Boys versus Independence at Pepin will play at the same time as currently scheduled.

There is Christmas in the air! Great job tonight 1st, 2nd & 3rd grade students! You did a wonderful job tonight! Rivermen Clubhouse kids enjoyed their time together. They decorated Christmas ornaments to show off their Alma Pride with school color glitter.

The 8th-grade Technology Education students have been working hard in the shop making Christmas presents for loved ones. They all did a great job.

Rivermen Clubhouse enjoyed making their own cup of hot chocolate on this snowy day! Then they made hot chocolate art work. Fun things to do during winter days! Plus they get to warm up too!

The holiday spirit is filling the halls of Alma Area School. We invite you to see the festive hallways and delightful student artwork/ writing. How about pairing it with a holiday show? The students in grades 1-3 under the direction of Mrs. Graff will be putting on "Survivor Santa." Please join us in the small gym for a 7:00 PM start. The Book Fair is open prior in the high school IMC.

2nd Graders are in the holiday spirit! Today we made gingerbread houses. Students were given a template and had to design their houses. They had certain materials to use. They were very creative and imaginative! Thanks to all the parents that donated items for this fun project!
