The Alma Area School 1st graders are preparing to sing the National Anthem on April 14th on the baseball field preceding the matchup between the Pepin -Alma Eagles and Augusta. Mrs. Steinke's 1st grade class will sing at approximately 4:55 with a game start time of 5PM.

Planning is underway for the Read - a - Thon. Books are arriving. Station activities are being planned. Over $700.00 in pledges have been given. Great job Alma Area School readers. We hope to see you for a night of FUN on April 20th!

Rivermen Clubhouse want to wish you all a Happy Easter 🐣
They had a great time together frosting cookies, playing a bowling game, making Easter decorations, moving & grooving and more.
Reminder: The B-4 & Kindergarten Classrooms have no school April 7, 10 & 11.(Friday, Monday & Tuesday) We will see these two classrooms back on Wednesday, April 12. And all other students back Tuesday.

Reminder the Baseball and Softball games for tonight vs Alma Center will be held in ALMA starting at 5:00 p.m. Baseball games are held at the school and softball games at the Alma Beach.

Alma Elementary Students are participating in a READ A THON from April 1-May 5th. Friends, family and community members will likely soon be asked to pledge money toward student reading goals. This READ A THON fundraiser supports community service organizations, such as the fire department, ambulance, food pantry and more. Thank you for yoru support! The Alma Elementary School will host a special event for the readers Grades 2-6 on April 20th. Readers in grades B4-3 have been provided with a subscription to BOOKFLIX...Happy Reading!


Congratulations Alma and Pepin Band students on a great performance at the solo and ensemble festival on April 1. Even with the 2 hour delay, the students were ready to go and represented their school with pride. Nearly EVERY event received a 1st rating out of 30 events. That is outstanding! There are 5 band events that qualified for the state level on May 6. They are: Claire Goeldner, flute solo; Lorna Lisowski, oboe solo; Katrina Heller, clarinet solo; Roland Goeldner, trombone solo; and Claire and Roland Goeldner, flute-trombone duet. Congratulations to all who participated!

The elementary students finished studying cooperation in Guidance last week. The final week of fun included Brick Building with partners (Gr. 6), Cooperative Flags (Grade 4) and a cooperation Scavenger Hunt ( Gr. 1 & 2)











The Baseball and Softball games for tonight, Tuesday, April 4 vs Independence/Gilmanton have been POSTPONED until April 20.
Baseball will practice at Alma
Softball will practice at Pepin
MS/HS Golf will practice at Alma
Track will practice at Alma
Also, Thursday's JVSB game at Boyceville has been CANCELED
and the location for Thursday's Varsity Baseball and Softball games have been moved from Lincoln to Alma.

2nd Grade math was "Eggs-tra" fun today. We went on an egg hunt. Inside each egg was a math review question. It was fun seeing how much we have learned so far in 2nd Grade.








TRAVEL UPDATES FOR TOMORROW, SATURDAY, APRIL 1
As of this moment, the Solo Ensemble contest at CFC has been moved back to a 10 AM start. Mrs. Draxler-Ruff will be sending out a follow up email with adjusted times for busing and performances. The first Alma bus will depart at 9 AM.
In addition, the FFA contest at River Falls tomorrow morning has been moved back to a 10:30 AM start time. Those students attending will now load at Alma at 8:15 AM.
Any parent/guardian that has any concerns with your child attending these events should not hesitate to keep them home tomorrow. There will be no issues with that decision.
If any of these plans change this evening or early tomorrow morning, an additional announcement will be sent out.

The Softball game for today, Friday, March 31 at Eleva has been POSTPONED. No new date has been set at this time. The girls will have practice after school in Alma.
