Alma-Pepin Eagles Volleyball Dig Pink Fund Raiser On Tuesday, October 12th the Alma-Pepin Eagles Girls Volleyball Team is sponsoring a Dig Pink/Side-Out Fund raiser. The game is against the Augusta Beavers at Alma with JV and C Team starting at 6:00 pm and Varsity at 7:00 pm. This year’s Dig Pink proceeds will be split equally between the Dig Pink organization and Mrs. Kandi Steinke, Alma 1st Grade Teacher who had breast cancer surgery on September 28th. Ways to donate: • Silent Auction from 6:00 – 8:30 pm on the 12th. • Wall of remembrance (dedicate the evening to a family member) – donations accepted. • $1 serves following the match. • A 50 – 25 - 25 raffle • Donations can be sent to Alma School (all checks payable to “Alma Area School) Dig Pink/Side-Out Foundation, is a national 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization based in Fairfax, VA. Side-Out dedicates the majority of donations to their own metastatic breast cancer research. In addition to research, Side-Out allocates a portion of their funds to high-quality support services for cancer patients and their families, as well as college scholarships for students who participate in the Ambassador Program. If you are in town for the event, come on out and cheer for the Alma-Pepin Eagles Girls Volleyball, and don’t forget to wear your pink!

Rivermen Clubhouse started their week with teaming up and racing a egg on a spoon from partner to partner until the last person got the egg. We also tossed an egg back and forth backing up once good catches were made to see who was further apart from the other teams without dropping their eggs. What a fun we had!
